Who is eligible to participate in ISEO?

• Schools from Pakistan and abroad are eligible to register and participate
• Participants must be school students from Class 3 to Intermediate / A' Levels (approximately between the  ages of 8 to 18 years)
• Students may only register if their participation has been endorsed by the Principal of the School that they will represent at ISEO
• Schools can participate in the live events or may also send their entries for certain events such as Art, Film Making and Photography etc. without having to personally attend ISEO.

• Teams will be eligible to participate in the live events only if they are accompanied by a faculty member from the school who will act as Team Leader
• Go to Participating Schools to see which schools took part in the previous year’s ISEO event and for a list of those who have registered for the upcoming ISEO.

What competitive events can students participate in?
Approximately 12 - 16 competitive event categories are organized at ISEO annually. The Competitions do vary but include events from the following categories:

Where does the ISEO event take place?

• ISEO is hosted by Karachi High School and held in Karachi, Pakistan. The events are held at the Karachi High School campus which is situated at the heart of Karachi in Civil Lines. Certain events may be organised in venues located near the Karachi High School campus.

When is ISEO held?

• ISEO has been held for the last ten years in January. This year the ISEO event will be held from September 18th - 23rd 2010.

How much will it cost schools to participate in ISEO?

• THERE IS NO REGISTRATION OR PARTICIPATION FEE FOR ISEO
• ISEO aims every year to provide boarding and lodging for approximately10 to 12 Outstation teams (all teams other than those from Karachi).
• ISEO also provides transport facilitates from and to the airport/ railway station, as well as, transport between the hotel and the ISEO venue for Outstation teams.
• All Outstation teams have to arrange their travel expenses to and from Karachi.

When do schools register by?

• There are two registration phases: Phase 1- School Registration and Phase 2- Event Registration
• The final deadline date for Phase 1, School Registration is no later than the 20th August before the event.
• The final deadline date for Phase 2, Event Registration is no later than the 31st August before the event.
• Outstation teams (all teams other than those from Karachi) must send the additional Travel Details form no later than the 31st August before the event.
