Rules:

1. Each team will be represented by ONE participant only.
2. All extracts may include poetry or prose ONLY IN URDU and must be socially appropriate.
3. A copy of the selected extract must be submitted to the organisers in advance on the day of the competition.
4. The selected text should be appropriate to the maturity of the participant.
5. Extracts should not exceed THREE minutes. A warning buzzer will be sounded after two and a half minutes.
6. Attendance will be restricted to faculty members and members of the participating teams.

Note: Entries will be limited to the first THIRTY schools that register for the event.
